The Jacques Barrere gallery will take part in the Shanghai Fine Jewellery and Art Fair to be held from 3 to 11 November, as well as in The Salon de New York from 8 to 12 November 2012.
According to the press release, the French gallery is to offer museum-quality Chinese pieces of art at the Shanghai Fine Jewellery and Art Fair. Since the fair is itself an essential event in Asia, it is certainly a wonderful opportunity for the Jacques Barrere gallery to seduce the buyers of such a dynamic market. Pieces from the Ming era (1368 to 1644), as well as more recent pieces, such as an 18th-century bronze and green patina Equestrian statue, are to be shown.
The most prestigious Parisian galleries will participate The Salon. The Jacques Barrere gallery has decided to bank on Khmer sculptures, Chinese archaeologies and Gandhara pieces. According to the press release, The Salon’s visitors will be lucky enough to admire an exquisite Phoenix upon Tiger of the Era of Warring States.
