From 11 to 16 September Paris will host the eleventh edition of the world’s leading international outdoor tribal art fair “Parcours des mondes”, which will take place in the historic neighbourhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
Since 2002, Parcours des Mondes has been gathering, each September in Paris, sixty leading galleries, fifty per cent of which are foreign, specialising in Tribal arts of Oceania, Asia, Africa and the Americas. This year’s event welcomes seven new exhibitors.
Participating members from the Tribal Art Society include : Jean-Edouard Carlier, Olivier Castellano, Kevin Conru, Bernard Dulon, Bruce Frank, Pascassio Manfredi, Patrick Mestdagh, Galerie Meyer, Joaquin Pecci, Adrian Schlag, Serfe Schoffel, Michel Thieme and Renaud Vanuxem.
Each gallery offers a personalised and intimate presentation of a variety of: unknown masterpieces from Africa or Oceania, affordable ethnographic works and highly sought after works.
