Amsterdam, 24 October 2012

The second edition of the Tribal Art Fair Amsterdam 2012 will take place from 25 to 28 October in Amsterdam. It will allow to see artefacts form Asia, Oceania, Africa and South America.
Almost 2,000 objects will be gathered; jewelry, sculpture, tools, furniture, masks and other tribal items. All of them were authenticated and approved by experts from each region. Every object is filled with history and illustrates its own culture. In addition nineteen traders such as Michael Evans and Bryan Reeves, have promised to present to the public top-quality collections.
The event itself is a way for the collectors and art enthusiasts to discover and get to know more about tribal art. The aim is also to support the organisation Threads of Life, helping Indonesian communities whose art of traditional fabrics and its colouring is almost lost.
